The world's largest fleet of hydrogen fuel cell buses is now in operation in the new Whistler Transit Centre. The hydrogen fuel cell technology will be showcased during the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

The project required relocation of natural site drainage and creation of a new wetland area. A large bio-filtration pond has been created along with a series of open water channels, bioswales, and marsh areas with native planting.
