Tom Barratt Ltd.

Tom Barratt Ltd. is the project Landscape Architect for the Whistler Athlete Centre complex in the Whistler Olympic and Paralympic village.

The facilities financed by VANOC include a 5,500-square-foot high-performance fitness centre, a 100-room lodge and 20 townhouses. This will provide athletes with an opportunity to learn, train and reside in a sport environment.

During the Games, the fitness centre was filled with sport-specific training equipment and open 24 hours.

Part of the fitness centre will be turned into a gymnastics hall, when Whistler 2010 Sport Legacies will operate the centre, the lodge and the townhouses.
