Nita Lake Lodge is situated in the Resort Municipality of Whistler, British Columbia, a world-class ski destination in the heart of the province's Coast Mountains. In addition to 77 guest rooms, with related dining, leisure, meeting, retail and other facilities, the project includes a new train station that will be the point of entry to the town for many visitors attending the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
TBL was the project Landscape Architect working closely with the Architect blending the architectural character with the site. The site is on the shore of Nita Lake occupying the original Jordan's Lodge fishing lodge.
Both the architecture and landscape design drew upon the historical character and design elements.
