Whistler Transit Centre: world's largest fleet of hydrogen fuel cell buses now in operation. January 22nd, 2010

The new Whistler Transit Centre was created to maintain and fuel a fleet of 20 hydrogen fuel cell buses marking the beginning of a new era in zero-emission public transit. The hydrogen fuel cell technology will be showcased during the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games

The site landscape features a bio-filtration pond, recreation of wetland drainage and series of open water channels, bioswales and marsh areas with native planting.
